"LC 52" Ammo
This is the so called "LC 52" ammo that's shown up in the past 10 years. I'm sure there is still quite a bit still floating around out there. This is generally advertised as "Lake City" ammo. The bad part is it's Berdan AND corrosive. Not good for a Carbines gas system.
The Chinese case is on the left, note the gold colored primer and the odd shaped font of the headstamp compared to the USGI case on the right. If you have some Chinese 7.62x39 ammo take it out and compare, you will see the font looks very similar.
Inside the case you can clearly see the two hole berdan priming.
